Drake is known for his generosity, and he proved it once again by giving away $10,000 to a fan at his concert in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Canadian rapper was performing at the PPG Paints Arena on Friday (February 16), as part of his Certified Lover Boy tour, when he spotted a fan holding a sign that read “Drake, I need $10,000 for college”.

Drake, who has been making it a point to bless some lucky fans with money during his shows, decided to grant the fan’s wish and invited him on stage.

He asked the fan, who identified himself as Tyler, what he was studying and where he was going to college. Tyler said he was studying engineering at Penn State University.

Drake then handed him a stack of cash and said, “This is $10,000 for you, my brother. I hope you do great things with it”.

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, as Drake hugged Tyler and congratulated him.

Drake also thanked the fans for their support and said he loved Pittsburgh.

He then resumed his show, where he performed his string of hits, such as “Way 2 Sexy”, “Laugh Now Cry Later”, and “God’s Plan”, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Drake’s gesture was captured on video and shared on social media, where it went viral and received praise from many users.

Some commented that Drake was “a legend”, “a king”, and “a good guy”.

Others joked that they would make their own signs for Drake’s next concert.

Drake’s Certified Lover Boy tour will continue until April 2024, with stops in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto.
