Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke made a stunning appearance at the premiere of their new Netflix film, Leave the World Behind, on Monday night in New York City. The movie, directed by Sam Esmail, is an apocalyptic thriller that tells the story of two families fighting for survival amid an inexplicable blackout. The film stars Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, and Ethan Hawke.

Roberts, 56, looked stunning in a black sequin mini skirt with a matching turtleneck blouse tucked into it. She wore a pair of black tights with pointy-toe black heels. Her head of auburn locks was styled in uniform wavy curls that tumbled over her chest. She draped a cream-colored coat over her shoulders as she posed for the cameras.
Ethan, 53, turned heads in a subtly pinstriped black suit with a white shirt and a black bolo tie. The actor looked dapper as he posed for the cameras with Roberts.
The movie is based on the best-selling 2020 novel of the same name by Rumaan Alam. The film is produced by Esmail Corp, Red Om Films, and executive produced by Higher Ground Productions. The new trailer for Leave the World Behind is chilling and has already garnered a lot of attention. The film is set to release on Netflix soon.
