Danielle Harold has denied any romantic involvement with Pete Wicks after they were seen getting cosy at a party in Australia.
The I'm A Celebrity star, who played Lola Pearce in EastEnders, said she and the former TOWIE star are just friends and that he is close to her mum and stepdad.
The pair were spotted at an event at Cali Beach, where they joined other celebrities from this year's series, including Sam Thompson, Fred Sirieix, Nick Pickard, Marvin Humes and Rochelle Humes.
According to The Sun, Danielle and Pete were "incredibly cosy" and "acted like a couple", with lots of cuddling and playful gestures.
But Danielle, who was eliminated from the jungle last week, told The Mirror that there is nothing going on between them.
She said: "Pete is a lovely guy, but we are not dating. He is a good friend of mine and he is very close to my mum and stepdad. They get on like an absolute house on fire."
She added: "He was in Australia to support Sam, who is his best mate and also one of my closest friends in the jungle. We all had a great time at the party, but there was no romance involved."
Danielle also praised Sam, who was crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity on Sunday night, saying he deserved the title.
She said: "Sam is amazing. He was the first person I saw when we did the tower trial at the beginning and we just clicked instantly. He is such a genuine, funny and kind person. I'm so happy for him."
Danielle, who left EastEnders in 2016, said she enjoyed her experience in the jungle and that it helped her overcome some of her fears.
She said: "It was a challenge, but also a lot of fun. I faced some of my biggest fears, like heights and spiders. I also made some great friends and learned a lot about myself. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I'm very grateful for it."
