The 14th Governors Awards, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, took place on Sunday night in Los Angeles, honoring the achievements of four film legends: Samuel L. Jackson, Elaine May, Liv Ullmann, and Danny Glover.

The star-studded event, which is considered a precursor to the Oscars, also attracted some of the most glamorous and talented names in the industry, who dazzled on the red carpet and on stage.

Among them were Margot Robbie, Florence Pugh, Penelope Cruz, and Emma Stone, who led the fashion parade with their stunning outfits and accessories.

Margot Robbie, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Bombshell, looked radiant in a white strapless gown with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. She completed her look with a pair of silver sandals and a matching clutch.

Florence Pugh, who rose to fame with her performances in Little Women and Black Widow, turned heads in a black sequined dress with a halter neck and a low back. She accessorized with a pair of diamond earrings and a ring.

Penelope Cruz, who won an Oscar for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, was a vision in a red velvet dress with a sweetheart neckline and a train. She added some sparkle with a diamond necklace and a bracelet.

Emma Stone, who won an Oscar for her role in La La Land, opted for a chic black pantsuit with a satin lapel and a bow tie. She contrasted her outfit with a pair of emerald earrings and a ring.

The four actresses were among the many celebrities who presented the honorary awards to the recipients, who were praised for their contributions to cinema and society.

The Governors Awards, which were established in 2009, are given to individuals who have made exceptional achievements in the motion picture arts and sciences, or who have rendered outstanding service to the Academy.
