According to The Sun, Christian Horner, who is the team principal of the Formula One racing team, is accused of sending sexually suggestive texts and emails to a former marketing executive, who claims she was forced to resign after rejecting his advances. The woman, who has not been named, has filed a lawsuit against Red Bull Racing, seeking damages for sexual harassment, discrimination, and constructive dismissal.
The Sun also reports that Geri Horner, who married Christian in 2015 and has a son with him, is standing by her husband and believes he is innocent of the charges. The former Spice Girl, who rose to fame as Ginger Spice in the 1990s, is said to be "devastated" by the scandal and has been leaning on her bandmates for emotional support.
A source told the newspaper: "Geri is absolutely gutted by this whole situation. She loves Christian and trusts him completely, but she's also very upset by the allegations and the impact they're having on their family. She's been in touch with the other Spice Girls and they've all been very supportive and understanding. They know how much Geri values her marriage and they're there for her no matter what."
The source added that the Spice Girls, who reunited for a successful tour in 2019, are planning to meet up soon to comfort Geri and catch up on each other's lives. The group, which consists of Geri, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham, have remained close friends despite their busy schedules and different careers.
