Hamisa Mobetto, the former model and socialite who has a son with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, has spoken out about the legal dispute between them over their child's custody. In a video that has been circulating online, Mobetto says that Diamond was the one who started the lawsuit, saying that he wanted to legally take care of his children.

However, she says that the negotiations between their lawyers have not been successful, and that the case is still ongoing. She also says that she is hurt by the media attention and rumours that have been affecting her son.
"No one wants their child to be discussed everywhere, it is not a good thing. He was the one who brought the lawyers in the first place, yes. He said he wanted to take care of his children legally. But I think his lawyers and my lawyers did not agree until we got to where we are now. And we are raising our children like any other parents who are fortunate to have children," Hamisa said.
The legal battle comes after Diamond raised eyebrows by leaving his son Dylan with Mobetto while he went to Rwanda with his other three children from different mothers. The singer, who is dating Kenyan media personality Tanasha Donna, took his son Naseeb Junior, whom he shares with Tanasha, and his daughter Princess Tiffah and son Prince Nillan, whom he shares with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, to Rwanda for a show.
When questioned why he did not include Dylan in his trip, Diamond said that he did not want to take his children everywhere, and that he came to Kenya alone because his kids were in school. He also said that he did not want to spoil them by exposing them to every place he visits.
"It is not every place that is good to go with children, that's why I came here alone, at time you are supposed to leave them to study. So I went with them to Rwanda but here I came alone because the kids are in school and sometimes it's not advisable to go with them everywhere. I will spoil them," Diamond said.
Diamond Platnumz, whose real name is Naseeb Abdul Juma, is one of the most famous and successful artists in Africa. He has won several awards and worked with international artists such as Ne-Yo, Rick Ross and Morgan Heritage. He is also the owner and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, a media house and a radio station.
Hamisa Mobetto, whose real name is Hamisa Hassan, is a former beauty queen and video vixen who became popular after featuring in Diamond's hit song Salome in 2016. She later announced that she was pregnant with his child, and gave birth to Dylan in 2017. She has since diversified into fashion and business, and has launched her own clothing line and beauty products.
The two have had a rocky relationship, marred by infidelity scandals, breakups and makeups. They have also clashed with Diamond's other exes, especially Zari Hassan, who accused Mobetto of breaking up her family. Diamond and Zari split up in 2018, after he confessed to having a child with Mobetto.
