LOS ANGELES, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Zendaya and Tom Holland have silenced the rumors of their breakup as they were spotted holding hands while leaving the afterparty of the Dune: Part Two premiere on Thursday night.

The couple, who co-star in the Spider-Man franchise, looked cozy and happy as they walked out of the venue together, smiling and chatting.

Zendaya, 26, stunned in a metallic silver gown that featured a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit, while Holland, 25, looked dapper in a black suit and a white shirt.

The pair, who have been dating since 2019, have been the subject of split speculation in recent weeks, after they were seen spending time apart and unfollowing each other on Instagram.

However, their latest appearance seems to confirm that they are still going strong and have no plans to end their relationship.

A source close to the couple told Reuters that Zendaya and Holland are "very much in love" and that they have been "supporting each other's careers and projects".

"They are both very busy and have different schedules, but they always make time for each other and stay in touch," the source said.

"They are very private about their relationship, but they are not hiding it. They just don't want to make a big deal out of it or attract unnecessary attention."

The source added that Zendaya and Holland are "very proud" of each other's achievements and that they have been "enjoying the success of Dune: Part Two, which they both worked hard on".

Dune: Part Two, the second installment of the sci-fi epic based on Frank Herbert's novel, premiered on Thursday at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

The film, directed by Denis Villeneuve, stars Zendaya as Chani, the love interest of Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet.

Holland, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was there to support his girlfriend and her co-stars, who include Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.

The film has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, who praised its stunning visuals, epic scale, and faithful adaptation of the source material.

Dune: Part Two is set to hit theaters on Feb 23 and will also be available to stream on HBO Max for a month.
