Tanzanian RnB singer Juma Jux has confirmed that he and his girlfriend Karen Bujulu have ended their relationship after six months of dating. The couple, who went public with their romance on Valentine’s Day 2022, have reportedly parted ways amicably and remain friends.

Jux, who is also the CEO of African Boy Records, took to his Instagram stories to announce the breakup, saying that they had different goals and visions for their future. He also thanked Karen for the good times they shared and wished her all the best in her endeavors.

“Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am here to inform you that Karen and I are no longer together. We have decided to go our separate ways because we realized that we want different things in life. There is no bad blood between us, we are still cool and we respect each other. I appreciate the love and support you have shown us during our relationship. I also want to thank Karen for the beautiful moments we had together, she is a wonderful person and I wish her nothing but happiness and success. Please respect our privacy and don’t spread rumors or hate. Thank you and God bless you all.” Jux wrote.

Karen, who is a model and influencer, also confirmed the split on her social media, echoing Jux’s sentiments and asking their fans to respect their decision. She also expressed her gratitude to Jux for the love and care he showed her during their relationship.

“Hi guys, I hope you are all fine. I am here to let you know that Jux and I have broken up. We have mutually agreed to end our relationship because we have different plans and dreams for our future. We are still friends and we have no hard feelings towards each other. I want to thank you all for the love and support you have given us during our relationship. I also want to thank Jux for the love and care he gave me, he is a great person and I wish him all the best in his career and life. Please respect our privacy and don’t spread rumors or hate. Thank you and God bless you all.” Karen wrote.

The breakup comes as a shock to many of their fans, who had been following their relationship closely and admiring their chemistry and affection. The couple had been posting romantic photos and videos of themselves on their social media, showing how they were enjoying each other’s company. They had also gone on several vacations together, including a recent trip to Zanzibar, where they celebrated Jux’s birthday.

Jux and Karen started dating in February 2022, shortly after Jux broke up with his Asian girlfriend Nayika Thongom, whom he had dated for a few months. Jux had previously dated Vanessa Mdee, one of Tanzania’s most popular singers, for six years, before they split in 2019. Vanessa is now engaged to Nigerian-American actor and singer Rotimi, and they have a son together.

Many of Jux’s fans have expressed their sympathy and support for him, saying that he seems to be unlucky in love and that he deserves to find his true soulmate. Some have also suggested that he should focus on his music career and avoid dating for a while. Others have speculated that he might reconcile with Vanessa or find a new lover soon.

Jux ni kama hana nyota ya mapenzi, which means “Jux is like he has no luck in love”, is a phrase that some of his fans and critics have used to describe his situation. However, Jux has not let his love life affect his music, as he continues to release hit songs and collaborate with other artists. He recently released a song titled Enjoy, featuring Diamond Platnumz, which talks about living life to the fullest and not stressing over relationships.
