Nikki Glaser, the comedian, has shed light on the unexpected booing of Kim Kardashian during Tom Brady’s roast. Contrary to popular belief, it had nothing to do with the longstanding Taylor Swift rivalry.

According to Glaser, she encountered a “wild guy who’s a comedian” after her May 5 Netflix special at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood, Calif. This comedian, known for stirring things up, initiated the booing as a joke. He wasn’t affiliated with Swifties or any particular fan group; he simply felt like making a playful gesture. The crowd’s reaction was unexpectedly intense.

Glaser clarified that the audience at “The Roast of Tom Brady” consisted mostly of sports fans who might not closely follow the Kardashians. The booing wasn’t Swiftie-driven, as some speculated. Instead, it seems sports fans wanted an outlet for their emotions.

As a fellow Swiftie, Glaser was relieved to learn that the negativity wasn’t orchestrated by Taylor Swift’s fans. She also pointed out that criticism of the Kardashians extends beyond Swifties. Many people perceive them as “not talented” and famous for no reason. Glaser challenged this notion, emphasizing their consistent achievements over the past two decades.

Despite the drama, Kim Kardashian maintained her composure onstage, and she has yet to address the crowd’s criticism from Brady’s roast.
