A man in his 40s, who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, has been released under investigation. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 27, in the Campfield Road area of Shoebury. The victim, a man whose identity has not been disclosed, lost his life in what authorities are treating as a workplace incident. In a statement released on Friday, Essex Police clarified the situation: “As part of our ongoing investigation into the death, a man aged in his 40s from the Witham area was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
