Rapper O.T. Genasis recently opened up about his co-parenting experience, and it seems he’s caught the attention of actress Malika Haqq, with whom he shares a four-year-old son.Download our app

On Saturday (July 20), Haqq took to her Instagram Stories and shared a screenshot of a US Weekly story featuring a photo of herself, O.T., and their son Ace. The headline read, “Inside O.T. Genasis’ Co-Parenting Relationship With Malika Haqq.”

Haqq captioned the post, “The fake sh*t irks me.” Later, she reposted a video of Ciara‘s now-infamous laugh in response to being asked about her own co-parenting relationship with Future during a recent interview.

Speaking to US Weekly as part of a press run for his upcoming stint on MTV’s “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets,” O.T. Genasis praised both Malika Haqq and the unnamed mother of his 14-year-old son. He said, “Both of my kids’ mothers are amazing. They’re great mothers. Obviously, you’re gonna have your differences, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. They’re amazing with my children. When I’m there, when I’m not there, they’re always there with the kids, and that’s dope.”

Despite the social media post from his ex, O.T. Genasis maintained a positive tone but hinted at another reason she might not be too happy with him. He wrote, “YOU OFFERED ME 100k to have another baby wit you and I said ‘NO.’ Lol! Still Love you and speak highly every time [blue heart emoji].”

“The Surreal Life” originally ran on VH1 from 2003 to 2006 before being rebooted in 2021. In September, MTV announced the cast of the second season since the reboot, which includes O.T. Genasis along with other artists.

According to Deadline, the new season features Macy Gray, Fifth Harmony alum Ally Brooke, Chet Hanks, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, former figure skater Johnny Weir, model Josie Conseco, and actor Tyler Posey. MTV described the show as “known for its legendary ‘celeb-reality,’ The Surreal Life returns with unexpected stars coming together for a wild, over-the-top journey that pushes them to reveal different sides of themselves in surprising ways.”

The previous season of the show featured August Alsina and Tamar Braxton sharing living space with headline-grabbing co-stars, including Dennis Rodman, former child star Frankie Muniz, and alleged Donald Trump mistress Stormy Daniels.
